Omega Speedmaster
When the watch first arrived it was important to give both the case and movement a thorough inspection to see the extent of the damage.

One of the tips of the springbars had broken off inside the lug. Obviously the watch had been wrenched off the wrist and fallen at some point.

As you can see, unfortunately there had been some water ingress which had caused some corrosion that needed to be addressed...

The shattered sapphire crystal was then removed to make way for a new genuine domed Omega sapphire crystal.

With everything re-assembled this Speedmaster was looking and running its best once again.

The sapphire crystal was shattered and a pusher completely missing...

The movement was removed from the case ready to be repaired, which then allowed work to begin on repairing the case itself. Firstly, the old pusher shaft was removed ready to install a new genuine Omega pusher and gasket.

This was able to be carefully removed by hand without damaging the inside of the case at all.

Most of the Omega 1152 movement was able to be salvaged along with the original dial and hands. The balance needed to be replaced as it had broken in the impact.

With a new strap installed, this beautiful timepiece was ready to be enjoyed for many years to come!
